It stars Anthony Hopkins who stared in Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, The Elephant Man, Amastad among many others. Nicole Kidman has been in To Die For, Rabbit Hole, Days of Thunder, Cold Mountain among others. Gary Sinise has been in The Stand (TV mini series), Of Mice and Men, Forrest Gump, Sansom among others. Ed Harris has been in The Abyss, A Beautiful Mind, Apollo 13, The Truman Show among others. Anna Deavere Smith from The West Wing and The American President (both by Aaron Sorkin) is also in the cast.
The plot of the movie revolves around the friendship of Hopkins and Sinise after Hopkins is forced to retire as a dean for "makng racial remarks" in a class. Hopkins wife dies and he starts a relationship with Kidman whos estranged husband Harris causes trouble. The plot takes an interisting turn towards the end which is intersting.
I rated the movie as a B. The four main actors are all good enough to make the movie worth watching.
