This movie stars Jeff Danials (Purple Rose Of Cairo, Terms Of Endearment), Christine Lahti (Running on Empty, Swing Shift, Chicago Hope tv), Kathy Bates (Fried Green Tomatoes, Misery), and CCH Pounder.
The movie is about Danials and Lahti and there two kids dealing with becoming homeless. They are forced to move around and go on welfare and live in government housing.
I rated this movie as a D-, F. While some of my disliking of this movie may be because of the tough subject matter. But it is more of the fact that thought it was not well written. It seemed to skip some emotional steps in the process of a deteriating family. The costumes that they had Danials in made me think of a child as opposed to an adult. The arguements scenes between Danials and his on screen brother were blocked by someone who had no idea what the hell they were doing. The breaks in the action made me think that it would be a good time for a commercial. And that was before I knew it was made for tv. There was no resolution at the end. The brother and his family disapear with no explanation. It was distractng.
Do youself a favor and find something else to watch, from what I hear Angeles in America is good.
