The movie stars Stanley Tucci (The Pelican Brief), Tony Shalhoub (Monk. Wings), Isabella Rossellini (Death Becomes Her), Allison Janney (The West Wing), Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting), Campbell Scott (Dying Young).
The plot is as follows. Tucci and Shalhoub in an attempt to save there restaurant from bankrupcy they have a dinner party for a jazz musician who never shows up. Shalhoub would be girlfrend is there. Tucci's girlfriend, mistress (who is dating his mentor), and his mentor are there.
I rated the movie as a C. I would say the movie is worth watching. I just would not say it with any conviction. Its a character driven movie. Not that much happens but the focus is just what happens between the characters. The dinner scene is somewhat of a legend I think. Tucci talked about it on an interview with Terry Grose but cant remember waht he said about it.
