This movie stars Michael Bonsignore, Maggie Riley (The Dance of Death), Nancy Jo Boone, and Clint
Vaught. I assume this movie is wth non actors so not much other work out there.
The movie takes place in an nursing home. Bonsignore is a nurse, or slightly lower on the scale, who is not the ideal employee. He is late and gets high on his way to work and at work. One of his "duties" is to fake calls from residents to God, and also one residents son.
The movie switches between "interviews with employees" and the plot of the movie. That flipping between the interviews and the plot work very well. Another good part of the movie is the calls to God. Bonsignore places the calls then answers them in another room. Is it better to lie to people and tell them what they want to hear and calm them or to not give them false hope. The music lends well to the tone of the movie
The only bad thing about the movie is Bonsignore. I dont think he did a good job. Everything else of the movie was very good. If I would rate Bonsignore I would rate him as a C- and say pass on the movie. The other parts of the movie I would rate as a B or B+.
On the whole I would rate the movie as a C+. Go and rent the movie. If you can get past the lead caracter there are other things to be satisfied with.
